Fantasy basketball waiver wire: Bam Adebayo out, Orlando Robinson streaming

This week, like last week's waiver wire piece, we focus on deeper formats. Only two of the six proposed additions below are in at least 20% of leagues. Although there are always enough injuries to keep the waiver wire alive, this time of the NBA season is usually the lull before the trade deadline (Feb. 8) and post-All-Star break period

Short-term stopgaps are usually a smart idea now, unless you can stow a second-half breakout prospect.

Williams lost his six-game double-digit streak. He has been playing well in recent weeks, averaging 12.9 points (52.2% FG, 42.3% 3PT, 64.3% FT), 5.4 rebounds, 1.6 threes, 1.3 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.0 blocks in 30.8 minutes

Williams, who has been giving well-rounded performance, could have plenty of looks with Zach LaVine (foot) out for at least several weeks. Despite his inconsistent record, he's a good streaming option.

In two starts at center as Bam Adebayo (hip) recovers, Robinson has scored 31 points, 17 boards, seven dimes, four treys, three swipes, and one swat in 63 minutes.

Avoid making the courts so slippery next time. Perhaps the state's coolest high school gyms could host the games. Definitely improve City Edition shirts. Continue creativity workshops here

Since Adebayo is anticipated to be out until next Friday, Robinson is a good short-term streamer if you already have him.

Jones has scored 12 points or more in four straight games, averaging 16.8 points (56.1% FG, 54.2% 3PT, 80.0% FT), 4.5 boards, 3.3 threes, 1.0 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.8 blocks in 30.8 minutes.
